Upgrade Wolfram Player
Background
The SmartCAE Digital Cold Chain software uses the Wolfram Player software as runtime engine. Most new releases of the DCC software work with the same version of the Wolfram Player. Occasionally, an upgrade of the Wolfram Player software is required. This document describes how to upgrade the Player software in these cases.
Download Wolfram Player
Follow this link to download the Wolfram Player in the version best supported by the SmartCAE software:

Install Wolfram Player
To install the Wolfram Player, please double-click on the downloaded installer file and follow the instructions. You will need administration privileges for your computer to install the Player. This might require support from your IT department.
Activate as Player Pro
After installing, the Wolfram Player needs to be activated as Player Pro. Please send an email containing your current activation key to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . You will receive an email from us with an activation key for the new version. Start the Player and activate it as Player Pro.
Download the SmartCAE Software
Once the new Wolfram Player is installed, you can install the most recent version of the SmartCAE Digital Cold Chain. You can always download the current version of SmartCAE Digital Cold Chain from this URL:
Install the Digital Cold Chain
After activating Player Pro, you can install the SmartCAE Digital Cold Chain software. To do so, follow these steps:

Upon installation completion, the installer will show the following content:
Note: In some cases, the blue Enable Dynamics button is displayed again. In this case, press the Enable Dynamics button to proceed to the screen below.
Quit the installer by pressing the Quit button. You are now ready to start the new version by double-clicking the Digital Cold Chain icon on your desktop.
Step 4
Double-click the Digital Cold Chain icon on your desktop to open the SmartCAE Digital Cold Chain start screen.
From there you can start the various modules of the SmartCAE Digital Cold Chain software. Tiles displayed in gray indicate that the respective module is not licensed and cannot be used.
